This is currently being constructed (late 2023), having had numerous different alterations made at design stage.
Principal Engineer (Public Health) responsible for the drainage design of two commercial offices. One office was created from the conversion of the existing grade 2 listed "art deco" Kendal's department store and the other office was a new build 13 storey, 200,000sq.ft. building.
A wellness suite was provided at basement level with co-working space at ground floor along with retail units.
The design was undertaken to deliver stretching targets towards net zero carbon with the better buildings partnership design for performance methodology being deployed to drive operational carbon down and a detailed embodied carbon assessment undertaken.
Principal Engineer (Public Health) responsible for designing all aspects of the above ground drainage systems and domestic water supply systems to a new 9-storey, 261 bed hotel constructed from an existing 7-storey office building.
The hotel also incorporates new hotel lobby, bar and meeting rooms on the ground floor as well as new kitchen, staff area & public toilets in the basement.
Co-ordination of PH services undertaken whilst an existing restaurant on the ground floor continued trading.
This hotel is now completed & is open (mid-2023).

It was determined that, based upon the information presented, there was no immediate requirement to replace any of the storage tanks which were inspected / reported upon.
